PMTL6901 is a Digital Mobile Radio (DMR), Produced by Pronto Microsystems Technologies Limited. PMTL is a Company established by the Nigerian Army, for the production of Communication and other ancillary equipment for Defense operations and commercial use. The radio is a dual mode (Analogue/Digital) device and operates in either VHF or UHF frequency bands. It has a coverage area of about 3-5km on simplex mode and over 20km on repeater mode. The radio have been tested to be interoperable with other legacy communication brands.
